I watched about ten minutes of the new version of TO TELL THE TRUTH......it is very obvious that the celebrities are given questions and comments - there was not one spontaneous moment.....so I don't need to watch it again.

Is anybody else here watching the new TV series, ANIMAL KINGDOM with Ellen Barkin?

I liked the Australian movie version a few years back with Jackie Weaver, but this series is very depressing.  The actors are fine, but the story is not easy to follow.  Too many characters and some of them look alike.

I've watched three episodes.  Not sure I'll watch any more.

We haven'the watched it and now I am glad we passed on it.

I am also pleased that I seem to have been the only one who had trouble opening the discussion.

I missed MAJOR CRIMES this week! Completely forgot about it.

Did you look to see if it will be on again?

I hate their new schedule.  For the past seasons, the MAJOR CRIMES repeat of the following week was at 8:00 and the new episode at 9:00 on Mondays.
RIZZOLI & ISLES did the same schedule on Tuesday. Now they are both on Monday:
8:00 repeat of last week's RIZZOLI & ISLES
9:00 new RIZZOLI & ISLES
10:00 new MAJOR CRIMES and if you miss it, go screw yourself seems to be the TNT approach to things

I've spent too much time this morning on "the memoirs," and my cooking window is over.  Off to Adelaide and Nathan Detroit.

Last night I saw Motown: The Musical - while a little long, I really like this musical.  It's the second time I've seen it.  It's worth one night in the theatre to hear these songs and to learn a little about the history about Motown - whether it's true or not, I don't know - but for a jukebox musical, it'e one of the best.

In other news - the puppy which I thought was going to join DD Ben and me in August, is actually joining us on Monday!   Miscommunication (not on my part) from the breeder.  Well, it is what it is and I must spend my day cleaning up the apartment.  I'm excited... not sure DD Ben is, but soon it will be DD's Ben and Leo (Ben is Benedict Francis and Leo is Leopold Pius)

Will DR Ben go with you to pick up the new pup?

Since the end of February I have lost 45.6lbs. Only 30lbs to my next goal.

Congrats, Michael!

Oh....and Nene Leakes is considered a celebrity......

Well, she has acted in scripted shows, so she's not exclusively a "reality show star." ::)

Puppy vibes for DR MATTHEW & Co.

DR GEORGE - she has appeared on scripted shows...which her "reality" show is as well....but I wouldn't call her an "actress."

I was supposed to be in Beverly Hills today, just a couple blocks from Mr Chow's, but plans were changed. My neighbor downstairs was scheduled for a procedure on his back. It's one of those where they won't let you go home on your own, so I was the designated driver. The nurse called him early this morning and said they're postponing it. Apparently, one of his labs was too high. Poor guy. He's been trying to get this taken care of for several months. Between my availability and his it was difficult to schedule and we'd both put today aside for it.  Oh, well.

Suddenly my day freed up. Ah! Grocery shopping! Sound familiar, DR Chas? As there was nothing here for dinner it was actually an attractive option.

Today is a day for ketchuping on errands and chores.

Sounds exciting, no?

Better than drama, yes?
