And on that note (D-natural), I'm going home.

Until later. :)

I'm off to bed.  I've been working on the memoirs, and it's time to write about my eccentric landlady my first year of grad school.  I need more time for her.

Anatomy of a Broadway Flop: Why These 4 Shows Failed

"The woeful wordplay writes itself. “American Psycho” met a gruesome end. “Tuck Everlasting” was not immortal. “Bright Star” ran out of fuel. And “Disaster!” proved to be — well, you can finish that one yourself.

"Broadway is a brutal business, in which real success is enjoyed by a handful of shows, while a vast majority crash and burn. And this season was especially tough, because one show, “Hamilton,” gobbled up much of the attention, enthusiasm and awards that motivate potential ticket buyers..."

Watching the original "My Sister Eileen" with Rosalind Russell leading a fine cast that includes Janet Blair, George Tobias, . It's another in this screwball comedy series and while the acting is good, the movie is kinda creaky.

Larry, Moe and Curly managed to make a surprise appearance at the very end of the film.

We did record at Right Track several times, but not that one - I think the one we used was in the 50s somewhere - I'm sure we did Bells Are Ringing there.

In the Cast Recordings group on Facebook someone started a Follies thread about my remix (it happens a few times a year) and suddenly we sold a bunch of copies - it's like, those people had no idea we'd done it - how on earth could they have missed that news for the past five years?

Wednesday afternoon greetings from Orlando!  We had a smooth trip from Macon and have settled in here for a week.  First things first - we're doing laundry!

Glad to hear you made it safe and sound

Thanks, DR Vixmom!  Richard is pushing 70 and I'm on Medicare and this is the first time either of us has driven to Florida.  We've flown here together twice, but driving down is a "rite of passage."

Hope your trip next week is smooth.  Are going to try to meet up on I-95?

That would be fun. When are you leaving Orlando?

"Yes, we have no detergent
We have-a no detergent today."

Well, we do, DR Ron, but it cost a fortune in the hotel gift shop!

I always tell people, laundry detergent makes a tasteful, thoughtful gift, but i still prefer Godivas.

Damn, and here I thought I was all done with my Christmas shopping

If you're giving me a box of Tide, forget it!

Since the end of February I have lost 45.6lbs. Only 30lbs to my next goal.

That is terrific, Michael.  Congratulations.

In other news - the puppy which I thought was going to join DD Ben and me in August, is actually joining us on Monday!   Miscommunication (not on my part) from the breeder.  Well, it is what it is and I must spend my day cleaning up the apartment.  I'm excited... not sure DD Ben is, but soon it will be DD's Ben and Leo (Ben is Benedict Francis and Leo is Leopold Pius)

Congratulations on the new addition to the family.
