Well, you've read the notes, the notes did not receive whooping and hollering and a standing ovation, and now it is time for you to post until the whooping and hollering cows come home.

DR Ginny  I think Keith only saved, or reinstate the buses.  We are glad they are still running, and that you are having a good day.

Topic of the Day:  nothing at the moment.  We'll see what I choose to listen to when I get to work.

Tonight, I finally get my birthday present from my sister and her boyfriend:  all three of us are going to see Mandy Patinkin live in concert in Tacoma!

I assume that he'll be at the Pantages, but I don't remember.

And now, since I need to leave work early, I'm going to go to bed early.

Good night. 8)

Friday morning greetings!  Up early for an all-day genealogy workshop.  It's sponsored by a major vendor, so it's all free, including lunch.  I'm doing it for my sister.

Will try to check in from the convention center.

I woke around 1:30 last night needing some allergy medicine. My nose and throat were clogged and I couldn't get back to sleep, so I read a large chunk of Barbara Cook's new biography. I turned off the lights around 3:30, amd I am really dragging about hoping that I wake up.

I had a middle of the night sneezing fit, and still feel the tendency.  Guess it's time for some Flonase (which actually I think I'm about out of) or a Benadryl.

Today I must finish up an area of weed pulling and mowing.

This evening, it's Hello, Dolly! with dinner and drinks on the lawn at the local outdoor musicals venue.

I'm sitting next to a librarian from England who says she's "gobsmacked" by this morning's news.

I agree with MR BK about audiences today....and I am unanimous in that.

I think it started sort of with the tv show STAR SEARCH.....each of the singers had 45 seconds to do their thing.....and at 30 seconds, each of them would sing a loud high note or start yowling and growling and the audience would always respond in kind - prompted, I'm sure.

It continued on American Idol, etc.....and still goes on....  It makes me want to avoid theatre.

I am off to City Center!

My British friends on Facebook are seriously unhappy with yesterday's vote.
