I wish I had time to browse the B & N sale so my little credit could go farther.

Briefly home from taking our guests sightseeing and have to deal with Electrolux regarding our refrigerator problem.  They keep putting me on hold.

In the year we have had it they haven't been able to fix it, yet they continue to send out repair people instead of replacing it.  I'm trying to find out what the person who is coming on Wednesday will be doing.  We thought the frig had been turned in for a replacement and they left us a message a new repairman will be out.  Of course that is all the message said.

This day has simply one of music and distractions, the latter all coming from the work being done, which was very noisy and messy.  They're cleaning up back there - I'm assuming they don't have to come back, but the pool man not coming for a week is just bad - it's a green ol' mess.  But once he cleans it and gets rid of the algae, we should have no more problems, as the fruit balls are gone and there's no shrubbery left to even have a chance falling into the pool.

I did do a jog, and I have to go to Gelson's soon.  I had a little package of rice pilaf (you just microwave it - 400 calories) and a little ham sandwich (app. 350 calories) so my net calories after the jog are around 500.  I'm thinking of a salad with vinegar for the dressing (no calories) and adding some shrimp cocktail shrimp (less than 100 calories), and then get some melon balls, too, and some raw almonds.  The latter, according to what I've been reading, actually increases metabolism, despite not being that calorie friendly.  So, I'll have a couple of ounces every day.

I know I have the Gershwin/Hanson CD - the question is, will I ever find it.  There are only two Gershwin CDs that I can actually see, so the rest are buried somewhere.

And more vibes.  How fortunate that they can give him a prism thingy for the vision.

Thanks, DR ChasSmith - we'll see about the prism.  The doctor says the double vision usually clears itself, but it can take several months.

DITTO and yes.

Is this something to be concerned about?

Thanks, DR Jane.

Well, we'd rather it hadn't happened at all, but the doctor was pretty calm about it.

What the HELL is going on here?  Certainly no one is listening to their new 2-CD set and writing Amazon reviews, that we know, so why are we an page three at eleven damn o'clock on the East Coast.

It's odd. It has a slightly rancid aroma.

It's supposed to be the food that helps fight starvation in Southeast Asia, because each tree can grow hundreds of fruit, which are anywhere from 10 to about 100 pounds each.

There are all sorts of seeds and the rough exterior is hard to peel.

One is a vegan barbecue, because it supposedly tastes like pulled pork when cooked.

We'll see.

The other is to be a puree for desserts and has just sugar added to the fruit as it cooks down.
