George, I just got my Broadway Center guide for next season.  I see that Take 6 and Manhattan Transfer are appearing together in concert at the Pantages Theater in March.  Does that mean they are coming to the Washington Center as well?

Thanks for the info!!  The Washington Center has announced their season and TMT aren't part of it.  However, TMT is performing at the end of this month at Dimitriou's Jazz Alley in Seattle! :D I'm definitely going to see them there!

Probably a better price than the Pantages where the tickets range from $39.00 to $110.00.

So, my first project in the Music Room this morning was listening to L.A. Now and Then straight through on the Big Speakers.  And did it disappoint?  Oh yeah, baby.  And I have shared that disappointment with my millions of loyal followers on Amazon.

BTW, for me the CD was a little hard to find there because of the number of "now and then" type of titles that came up, even when searching the precise title within CDs and Vinyl.  But if you search on "Bruce Kimmel" in that department, it at least turns up on the first page of results, the third or fourth item down.

Fantastic album and show, BK.

I couldn't find it on Amazon, either.  I searched "L.A. Then and Now" under the CDs & Vinyl dropdown option, then sorted by Release date (it puts the newest first), and it didn't show up until the very last page. :-\

But when I added "Kimmel" to the search, it was the only thing that showed up. :)

Jazz Alley's ticket price for TMS's show is $49.

We watched two episodes of MIRANDA, had some peach pie, and Eric headed home to interview a possible new roommate.

I am pondering dinner.

Had a productive phone meeting with ALS and now have a very clear picture of what their twenty minutes will be.  Then I had some lunch - a chopped salad with a little ham and avocado added and red wine vinegar dressing (at Jerry's) and a bagel - all great about about 7 or 800 calories all in, although I suspect much closer to 700.  I'll jog in a bit and that will come down.  I'm not really going to eat anything else substantial - just some almonds and dried cranberries a little later.  I picked up a couple of packages, too.

Good!  And then don't dilly-dally but write a review while it's fresh in your mind.  Here's dear reader ChasSmith's wonderful review - I'd buy it based on reading this!  There's also a shorter review that's also five stars.

No CD in today's  mail.  As a matter of fact, I haven't gotten mail in three days.  I'm assuming it's not just me.  I guess I'll have to call the post office again to see what's going on.

I had some pie.  I really didn't want any, but I had to even up the row.

I enjoyed John McMartin in SWEET CHARITY, but I loved him on the FOLLIES CD.

I already dreamed of being able to play Benjamin Stone, but it didn't happen.

Um, no, and let me say that again most emphatically NO.  Page three?  At nine pacific time?  I suggest a posting frenzy or three and I'd suggest it real soon.  That's what I'm suggesting.
