Congrats BK on your casting of Bill Hayes and Ilene Graff!  Sounds like they'll be great evenings...as usual.

And it would be great (for us fans, at least) if the 10th anniversary BRAIN could be recorded. ;D

Great news about Bill Hayes!  I think I once had an album of his.  Disney songs? Kern?

I met him 1998 or so, when he was the older man in the Kenndy Center's production of WHERE'S CHARLEY? He was quite friendly and very good in the show.  He played opposite Sally Ann Howes.

So, one last whole ME day until...Sunday, I think.

I must use it wisely and well.

Or is that redundant?

Am I just saying the same thing twice?

And there are a lot of people in this show I don't really look forward to spending time with....I need to find a hiding spot for the time between scenes....

DR Jrand65, very sorry (not to mention embarrassed) for the delay, but I'll be putting those long-promised '1776' program reproductions in the mail to you on Thursday.

I changed the way I'm doing them for the better -- AND -- thanks to the delay, I'm able to add one fun extra thing which I only recently figured out how to do.

TOD:

I liked everything George C. Scott did.

I was lucky enough to see him on Broadway in THE BOYS OF SUMMER with John Cullum.

Of course, I hadn't studied my script enough, and I had a line buried in the middle of Scene Five.  I was working without my book....so everything stopped a moment....

I will be READY tonight for sure!!!!

Go ahead, Sam....it sounds lively as hell up there!

Tuesday morning greetings!  I woke up about 5:30 and couldn't go back to sleep.  After reading for an hour or so, I dozed in my recliner until about 8:30.

Combining yesterday's and today's TODs:

Sean Connery -- anything and everything.
George C. Scott -- anything and everything.

I generally love the films in which each left his mark, as opposed to the couple of stinkers they might have appeared in.  But there are certain actors I can watch in just about anything, and these are two of them.

Michelle Pfeiffer -- It's funny, but here's an actress who has never appeared on my radar.  My first awareness of her was in THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK in 1987.  I've since seen some of her earlier and later films, but I never distinctly remember her.  I'm looking at her filmography as I write this, and there are a couple of famous movies I never saw.  But even those I did ..... I swear I never remember she's the gal in SCARFACE or Velma in HAIRSPRAY.  I haven't yet watched THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS, but I have it here and I'm kind of assuming that one's going to put her more on the map for me.
