Back from a fun lunch at Casa Vega. I had one beef taco and one cheese enchilada and a couple of bites of rice. According to the calorie charts online, the taco was around 275 and the cheese enchilada was around 350 and the rice maybe 50, so under 700 calories so far. Didn't have time to jog when I got back, so we'll have our rehearsal and then I'll go at seven - cooler then anyway.

DJ had sent me a beautiful tune that I harmonized and then did a vocal arrangement. I suggested that it be used not as a song but as the framework for the scene in the script that came after. Now the duet for the young married couple becomes the framework for the scene between the potential romantic couple, and it's my favorite moment in the show.

Case/Lang/Viers was okay. Kd lang was the best part, of course. But there was not enough of her or her material. The new stuff for the trio made her sound like she was in a girl group. Not the best use of her talents.
