Granted, I am not a trained musician. I am an actor that sings, not the reverse; but I would need to be close to ready before I ever came to a rehearsal.

Today, I go to City Center to spend some time with Joshie. He's doing the orchestration reduction for the tour of this Lincoln Center production of The King & I. It's a great job for him and I am really happy for him.

Tonight, I am seeing Celia Berk at the Metropolitan Room at 7:00. With my current leg problems, I'd be happier staying home, but I like Celia, I loved working on her album last year, and I'll be home by 9:30, hopefully.

What I'm listening to right now, many days later than planned:

BK's interview podcast re NUDIE MUSICAL. It's really great, so as I listen, I'm browsing down the list of these people's other podcasts, and there are three or four others I absolutely have to try.

I'd had to stop listening to the podcast at the point where they break and BK comes on, so it was an easy thing to resume at that point. It really is good.

We actually got rain yesterday, LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of rain. It was very much needed.

Well.....our costumes did NOT arrive yesterday. So we were all sitting around....an hour early.....

The costumer said they were shipped from New York on Monday....and all I could think was....."...and you really expected them to be here on Tuesday?" UPS? There were all sorts of excuses, etc.....and she said she was told they were "on the truck...."....

There is something else I wish was "on the truck."

So I ask one of the dance captains to help me with the dance for "Cool Cool Considerate Men".....so we went out to the lobby to work on it.

HOWEVER when we got to the song in the rehearsal....what she taught me was NOTHING like what everyone was doing. In fact, I am sure they do something different every night....

So I guess it's "Goodbye, Firefox".....the Adobe Flash/script errors continued unabated....so I have switched to Opera.

I may try a new Homepage just to see....but iGoogle works fine on Opera....so I will get used to it.

I spoke to Joshie. I will stay home today and spend the day with him tomorrow. I cannot get out of my cabaret date tonight, and I want to be able to walk to and from West 22nd Street to a bus stop.

Tomorrow, I'll see my doctor at 8:15, go to the pharmacy, and then be at City Center around 10:00. We;ll have a fun day before I head home.
