Wednesday morning greetings!  We'll be outta here in about half an hour for Richard's follow-up with the opthalmologist, some shopping, and (I hope) lunch.  He has a chiropractor appointment later this afternoon.

So, we have a show tonight.  And does that feel weird, or what?  What did we play...like, one and a half dress rehearsals?  And now we have a couple of subs on a couple of these make-up nights.

I'd hazard a guess that the cast has gotten together to run it, but man, I can't even imagine what tonight's going to feel like.

We actually got rain yesterday, LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of rain.  It was very much needed.

No flooding then?

Today, I go to City Center to spend some time with Joshie.  He's doing the orchestration reduction for the tour of this Lincoln Center production of The King & I.  It's a great job for him and I am really happy for him.

Oh man, are they adding a synth?   That show was PERFECT, because of the orchestration.

Finally have a chance to say hi.  My Footloose camp ended so now I have mornings free.  Still have Xanadu this weekend which is shaping up quite nicely.  It's just a wonderfully written show, as crazy silly as it is.  Often overlooked, but cheezy fun.

Keith dropped me off in town for a haircut appointment and then I had a very nice walk home.  At first it was a bit on the chilly side but then the sun came out.

I'm up, I'm up.  I was first up at four after two-and-a-half hours of sleep.  Then I announced at six and went back to bed and fell asleep by seven and slept until noon, so even though it doesn't feel like it at the moment, I did get almost eight hours of sleep.

Doctor visit vibes for RICHARD and Lunch vibes for DR GINNY.

Thanks, DRs JRand and George!  The doctor and Richard agree that there's been some improvement, but the doc says it can take 6 months for a nerve to fully recover.  He ordered a stronger Fresnel lens and told us to come back in a month.  After a couple of errands near the doctor's office, we went into downtown Hamilton for lunch at one of our favorite delis.

Dr. Meier also told Richard he could drive, at his discretion, which he did when we went back out to do another errand (unsuccessful) and for his chiropractor appointment.  We are home in one piece...

Good news DR GINNY.

Thanks DR JANE.  It is the audience that will suffer.  I am leaving in a few minutes because we have to be there EARLY to rehearse a song.....yes THAT song.

Costumer says that the costumes are in.....so Kostume Kapers will be tonight.

The unsuccessful errand was to the bank where Richard and I have our joint checking account.  They have a no-fee coin sorting machine for customers and I wanted to turn my accumulated coins and ones into my mad money for the papercrafting trade show I'm attending this weekend.  The machine was out of order, of course, and the other financial institutions we patronize do not have that service.  My only option, it seems, is to use the one at Kroger, which charges a fee unless you take your proceeds in gift cards.

Still trying to find a replacement singer.  Bill Hayes has agreed to do a second song, so that's good.

Six months is a long while, on the other hand that explains why the improvement hasn't been greater.  Continued healing vibes!!!
