DR Jane, Daniel, the Thai Torturer, tries to work on the scar tissue in my neck with each treatment, but it is just so painful that I beg him to stop. I can handle the treatment on other areas, but my neck was badly damaged. If we don't work on it at all, then we can't fix it. When I read about ART it sounded like a different way to pursue the problem, and possibly one I could tolerate.

In defense of Daniel, and because I like positive stories, I'll tell you about his client Irv. I've never met Irv, but Daniel tells me that he's in his 60s and owns half of Beverly Hills. Like me, Irv was in several auto accidents. When he came to Daniel he was stooped over. (I don't have good posture, but I'm not stooped.) Since Irv is wealthy we can assume that he sought--and received--the best medical treatments. Daniel's been treating him twice a week for about four months and Irv is no longer stooped. Daniel has done a lot of work with vets and his website contains many remarkable stories.

I'm hoping that ART will help me through the worst of the neck issues and then I'll be able to return to Daniel.

To scare the populace:

My, my. That's certainly a different look for you. A lovely shade of red. Perhaps more of a burgundy.

Thanks DR JEANNE....yes it is burgandy.

The NEW MOON is messing everything up.....and Mercury in Virgo will go into retrograde on the 22nd, so we'll all just have to hold on until mid September.

And with that, I'm leaving work.  Even though I've been coming in early because of a new staff member, I haven't necessarily been leaving early, so I have some time built up for this week.  I'm leaving work early now and will again tomorrow.  So, I'm off to do a little shopping, then a lotta TV watching at home.

Until later!

I amity relaxing after dinner.

I had a nice three-hour nap this afternoon lying down upon my bed.  That's the first of the week, so things may be looking up.

The good news, thus far, is that my breathing is much-improved although the evening remains young.

I'm floating on a bubble of hope.

Thanks to all who sent well wishes.

Starting to watch "The Tin Star" with Henry Fonda, Tony Perkins and what seems so far to be a great Elmer Bernstein score.

Need to watch more Anthony Mann movies. Loved The Furies.

I am home.  Joshie and I went through the "Small House of Uncle Thomas" and he's done a lovely job of it.  He has two things going for him: he's very smart and he;s very good.

Sounds like a winning combination.

Bobby Short's autobiography, "The Life and Times of a Saloon Singer," arrived in the mail today. Don't know why I haven't read this before.
