In last night's bus accident, no one was injured.  The idiot tour bus driver scraped the driver's side of the bus. The holdup was waiting for MTA clearance.  After we sat on the bus for over 15 minutes with no info from the driver, who had had an altercation with the other driver and then spent his time jumping off the bus t inspect the damage and talk to MTA personel, I asked for a transfer and hopped the next bus that came along. It was an annoyance.

DR Elmore, I'm glad to hear the bus mishap was just an annoyance.  Richard and I were involved in a similar incident several years ago in Washington, DC, when one of the ALA shuttles hit a car.

I am glad it was no more than an annoyance and you were able to transfer.

Years ago while riding the bus home from work there was a minor accident.  The driver was very nice and asked for witnesses for the police report.

Thursday.

Well I was setting at the stoplight when my car stopped running.....and there was NOTHING when i turned the key....no crank....no nothing.

My brother came to get me.  I called AAA for the tow and now the car is on the way to the garage.

So rehearsal is iffy for me this evening.  I will let them know about 4:30 or so if my car is not going to be ready.....
