I have two free passes for movies at Regal, so it won't cost us anything, and neither of us gets anything at the concessions, either.

But first, I need to shower, get dressed, and get me something to eat.

After the movie, we're going to look at a house.

If one of them pans out, then she'll need some place to go.

Matzo brei - two eggs = 140.  The rest of the 300 is matzo.  I don't put anything on it - dry.

300 calories of Matzoh Brei sounds like a very small serving!

I just looked up the calories in one piece of Matos.  They very from 90 calories, plain thin slice, up to 130 depending on the type and brand.

But if you think of it that Matzoh brei is to Matzoh what French Toast is to plain bread, that could add lots of calories to what Matzoh itself weighs in at.    And what's Matzoh brei with no syrup or honey?

I know.  I just thought the base calorie was smaller.

Keith usually adds caramelized apples when he makes it.  Not having apples I suggested he use blueberries.  As expected it made for a messy matzo brei.  It was different, maybe not as good as usual but I enjoyed it very much and even finished even though he makes more than I can eat.

My big quandary is whether to procrastinate and do laundry tomorrow,  I cannot get myself motivated.

I don't know who said it, but "Why do today what you can put off until tomorrow."

;)

I don't know but I had a magnet on the frig in Michigan that said that.  Keith did not think it was funny-lol

Do you fry it in butter?

I didn't do anything - it was from a restaurant.  But it's simple - just Google and you will find site after site that tells the same calorie story.

I've never tried to make matzoh brei other than fried, but I guess you can bake matzoh brei the way French toast is sometimes baked - then that wouldn't add any calories, beyond the base of the eggs and the matzoh.

Back from a two-and-a-half mile jog, and shall now relax for thirty minutes, then get ready.
