Yesterday, I sent several important emails, one about the memoirs, one about Gentlemen, Be Seated!, and one about Guys & Dolls.  The fact that I've had no response to any of them makes me wonder what the fat hell is going on.

Perhaps everyone was with DR KevinH at Barbra's concert last night?

Bruce, I was just wondering if you had been told personally.  Knowing how ill treated this DR has been treated in the past, here and elsewhere, for political choices I do understand.
I am sorry about it as I feel there are very few, thank goodness, political comments here anymore.

Friday morning greetings!  Yesterday's yarn crawling was quite fruitful, but it was very hot for all that running around and I was exhausted when I got home.  We watched the Olympics all evening and I started knitting a baby blanket for my gift stash.

DR Elmore, I received your email this morning and will have to do a little "research" before I can respond - stay tuned!

THANKS TO ALL for the patented HHW vibes.  We had a good sized audience.....probably 5/6ths full....and they were very attentive and there was much laughter and applause.  One lady tried to get up and storm out during "Molasses to Rum to Slaves", but her husband held her down.....

And of all things....I got the biggest laugh of the night!

DR JEANNE I liked your story about your playhouse a lot more than I liked your story about your credit union.

Personal discourse has deteriorated....sad.

I like working with some kids....I like them individually, but as a group....NO.  As Cole Porter might have written.

That's fine! I'm glad to know you got it.  It means that yesterday's emails apparently went through with no glitch.  And I wait.

I managed to get back to sleep sometime after 4. Then woke up,again around 6:45. Realized there was no way I was going to be able to work.  (My lower palate is so swollen that it is pushing my tongue up against the roof of my mouth  ). Texted  my boss and go workers and managed to go back to sleep.

Slept until, about 3:30.    But my gums woke me up....

I hate it when that happens.  I learned a trick in Europe, though.  The Greeks rub a little Ouzo on their gums when the pain won't subside.

Italians use Sambouca.  Amazingly, this works, too.

Of course, in your situation, this is probably (or would be probably) frowned upon by your dental professionals.

As long as this is just "temporary".  When I was in hospital in early January, they wouldn't let me have coffee or tea...nothing with caffeine.

I let my doctor know in no uncertain terms that my first act of freedom would be to find a cup of coffee.  That was all right, though.  She told me to use moderation and to enjoy myself.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh......

I finally had an opportunity to watch the sing for your supper video.  I so thouroughly enjoyed it I watched it again and yet again.  Well done ladies!!  I loved the harmonies and the matching jewel toned dresses,  and all the choreography....it reminded me if the Andrews Sisters and the Lennon Sisters

I'm rather aimless at the moment.  There are things to be done but I have no energy.

Lethargy is my Life!
