Congrats to George on your new computer!

Thanks, Fred!  I'll give a report once I get it.  If anyone is interested, THIS is what I got. :)

THANKS TO ALL for the patented HHW vibes.  We had a good sized audience.....probably 5/6ths full....and they were very attentive and there was much laughter and applause.  One lady tried to get up and storm out during "Molasses to Rum to Slaves", but her husband held her down.....

And of all things....I got the biggest laugh of the night!

That's great!  Congrats, Jrand!

I'm rather aimless at the moment.  There are things to be done but I have no energy.

Lethargy is my Life!

Lethargy Is My Life would be the title of my autobiography, if only I weren't too tired to write it.

Cole Porter had it right: it's simply because I'm the laziest gal in town.

TOD: I have three books on CD picked out for the road trip, the most intriguing of which is Campbell Scott reading Tropic of Cancer.

Good morning. I made it up and down the mountain without incident this morning. Always a good thing.

Although we had a bit of rain yesterday, at my house there was not enough for the plants. So I am watering today.

Does anyone else remember them?

I know they had a show on TV...my folks watched it.  I would just as lief forget about that time, though.

I do remember the Lennon Sisters.

I remember thinking (when I was very young) that the King Family was somehow related to Alan King.

Several years ago, a vocal score for a lost musical was rediscovered.  i have been campaigning since it was discovered to orchestrate the score.  Today, I've discovered that a good friend royally fucked me over.

Had yet another phone meeting with the charity.  They are being less than helpful this year, this local branch.

I've just been up to the Abbey and back to pick up a couple of things, and made it a nice leisurely drive through some nice country.  Totally enjoyable.  I should just go out and do that more often -- there's nothing stopping me.

But man, is it HOT out there.  My web sites say we're at 91, "real feel" 101.  I can vouch for them being right about the latter.

You gotta wonder how people and organizations manage to become LESS helpful about things that are to benefit their own cause.

I remember the Lupino-Duff tv series that DR JEANNE was talking about yesterday.  It was called Mr. Adams and Eve.....about a couple of movie stars....I think it was supposed to be a comedy, but I don't remember ever laughing at it or watching more than two or three episodes.

A "good friend" would not do such a thing.  You have now seen this person's true colors.  Know him for what he truly is, bear witness to it, and have nothing kind to say about him...ever.

Richard and I just returned from our "errand date."  2 public libraries, a bank, lunch at Red Lobster, 3 big-box craft stores, and a surprise meet-up with niece Rev. Amy and her husband in the Hobby Lobby parking lot.  They just moved back to the area from northwest Ohio and we're thrilled to have them around!
