Well, the first night (of two) of TAO's "Words, Words, Words: Contemporary Horror" went really well last night! We had 17 or 18 people in the audience, which might not seem like a lot, but it was a good night for us and our WWW series.

The readers were all really good and the pieces were well chosen. My only...comment

...would be thaat it was a long night. In the curtain speech, the director announced that the evening would be about two hours with a 15-minute intermission, but the whole thing was 2 hours and 45 minutes!

However, I heard nothing but compliments from audience members after the show. No one (that I noticed) mentioned the that it was too long.

The one actual negative was that it was quite warm in our little theater. We have one little portable A/C unit, but it doesn't keep things cool very well one we get an audience in there. There's not much else that we can do, except that we did have cold bottles of water for sale.

After the show, seven of us went to the closest Shari's and dined and chatted and unwound after the show. And now I'm home and almost ready to go to sleep. I just want to ketchup on yesterday's posts, then I'm off.
