Well, you've read the notes, the notes were up and running, and now it is time for you to post until the up and running cows come home.

Tom, about "WORDS WORDS WORDS," it's done just on a Friday and Saturday, and that's it.  Next month will be science fiction, and I'm reading a couple of things!

A possible suggestion for a topic, in honor of the notes:

What are your favorite films about running or other sports,
(and if there aren't enough of those, your favorite films about computers, or which feature computers prominently)?

Favorites about running:  Marathon Man, Chariots of Fire

Favorite about other sports:  Breaking Away, Slap Shot

It's supposed to be a nice cool, fall-like day today.....and I don't have anything I HAVE to do, so that is nice as well.

I made a very serious effort to get to bed by 10, trying to get back to my usual schedule.  It failed.  Around midnight I started reading the score for Haydn's "Mass Un Time of Wat," and by 1:00 I was writing an email to our DR Ginny.

Some time after 2:00 I fell asleep, but I was out of bed and moving about by 9:15.

DR JRand65, I'm happy you finished 1776 with a good closing.  Do you know what next season will be?

There's a wonderful country fair this weekend that's near here, that I normally drop by every couple of years.  It closes this evening and I might go over for a while to see some new things they've got.

And then again, I might not.  I'm really into cleaning up this Music Room which has been a disaster for some time, and I made some good, discernible progress yesterday...so I want to keep that momentum going.

Congrats on what sounded like a great run, DR Jrand65.  Will there be any video clips you can share with us?

Sunday morning greetings!  Richard has gone to church in Dayton and our upstairs housemates are at their church in Mason and I'm home enjoying some solitude.

And after weeks and weeks of having the house closed up with the AC running, we've opened the windows.  Aaaahhhh, the house breathes!

I'm looking forward to some of that tomorrow, DR Ginny.  These windows have been locked tight for what seems like weeks.

Actually, seeing these little storm cells moving through right now, maybe it can happen today.

DR ChasSmith, the cool front that came through here yesterday brought some violent weather up north and some torrential downpours for us.

Yesterday at the crepe place there was a flyer in the window for the Odd Couple ... In my addled food deprived state I stopped and read through it, thoroughly expecting it to be about JRand's production...
