I'm in complete agreement with BK on the school year thing.  It's beyond me how these changes ever came about, and it was quite the surprise to learn of them when I began taking the occasional music gig with a couple of high schools some ten years ago.

I hadn't even been aware of the change from junior high school to middle school for the longest time, and I still think that shift in years is crazy.

I don't, but I've just been told that the Songs in particular are absolutely haunting.

EDIT:  Yikes, what an awful low-res image.  That's Six Medieval Lyrics and Seven Part Songs.

We were at the Meteoron Monastery complex which is a UNESECO Heritage site.  This was the stop on our tour I was most looking forward to.
