I like using the Senior Discount at the movies and especially at Goodwill where it is 30% off on Wednesdays.

Of course you can't get through the aisles on Wednesday because of all the old women looking at the knick knacks and dishes.

My nephew, who just started college this week, was named chair of the French horn section of the U.K. Orchestra. They'll be playing everyone from Mahler to Ives.

I did something last night I haven't done in ages. I had about 100 pages left in my book, Balzac's Cousin Pons, and it was so good that stayed up to finish it. I'm sleepy and worthless now, but it was worth it.

That might be one of the few movies that comfortably fits her 'persona' (whatever it actually is).

DR Elmore has had me riding the Way-Back machine lately.  Here's a newspaper photo for the last show I was in, after he left for New York.  Clearly, some of us understood the concept of "jazz hands" better than others...
