Today is prep day for the likes of moi.. Nothing but liquids through the day, then Prep Proper commences at six p.m.  I have my liter of Kickapoo Joy Juice mixed and chilling in the fridge.  Then tomorrow, first thing, is The Procedure.  Everyone's favorite.

If you are directing a play, it is also best said and then followed by throwing your clipboard to the ground.

I haven't done that for many years since it is counterproductive.....but it is usually effective.

We are now "relaxing" in the martini bar.  The music is a bit too loud for relaxing ;D

DR Jeanne, regarding Celebrity vs other large ships.  It seems about the same to us.  We booked in Aqua class which includes the option to dine, breakfast and dinner, in a smaller restaurant.  Last night we ate in the very grand 2 story dinning room.  We are looking forward to returning to the smaller restaurant tonight.

Thank you.  I know you enjoy hearing about cruises and am sorry your heart is probably not into it right now.

I am glad you are having an enjoyable vacation.

I wish I had found a shirt, hat, or Keychain in Croatia.  It is a beautiful country, at least what we saw of it.

I did buy a ticket-ticket in the lovely town of Corfu today, still no Keychain yet.  Keith usually finds the right one and we still have time left ;)

I loved it, too. My sister in Germany vacations there every year. They love the beaches, the sun, the warmth. Of course, the week in August when they took me, it was rainy with highs in the 50s.

DR John G, I am sorry you are having such headache problems.
Thank you, sir. The air in Louisville is simply toxic.

Tuesday morning greetings!  I have to do some number-crunching for Project Mom and some other desk work.  After lunch, I'm going out shopping.

TOD - There's a restaurant now in the building that used to house Rookwood Pottery in Cincinnati.  They used to have a burger menu on which the sandwiches were named for Cincinnati streets.  I always ordered the Erkenbrecherburger because I liked saying it.  Erkenbrecher Avenue is still there, but, alas, the burger is no longer on the menu.

I was taken there by my folks a couple of times in the late 70s or early 80s, and I loved it.  I always had a burger - and they were wonderful.  I kind of lost track of it for some years (did they close down for a while?), but I researched it last year and drove up the hill to see the current incarnation.  Now, I really don't have a good memory of what it looked like thirty years ago, so maybe this is just me, but I barely recognized the building.  Did they expand, and pretty it up a lot?

But back to the Erkenbrecherburger.  I had that and at least one other, I think a Cajun-spiced one and some other one.  They were always excellent.

DR ChasSmith, I haven't been past Rookwood for ages.  And I'm sorry to bring back burger memories today of all days.  Vibes to you!

The Erkenbrecherburger sounds like a character in a Mel Brooks movie.

And isn't it fun to say out loud?
