TOD. It makes me crazy when someone who is in a service industry such as a cashier or customer service person of some kind says "no problem" in response to "thank you".

What happened to "You're welcome" Or "my pleasure" ?

Now if some random person (not AAA) was to stop and help me change a flat or a friend was to drive me to an airport or help me move, that is a different story. In the latter instance I am creating a problem, in the former, they are just doing their job

" I am sorry" conveys acknowledgment of the misdeed and an apology for the inconvenience; to my ears, "my bad" conveys "FU, lady get over it"

It's a spelling mistake that's been driving me crazy lately. Apparently no one knows how to spell judgment any more. the British spelling is taking over.

TOD: one of them that i find peculiar is when someone says "Why do you always have to have the last word" or nastily says "Go ahead and take the last word, you know you have to have it" - It seems to me that the only person who actually complains when someone else likes to have the last word in a two-person conversation is someone who really wants to have the last word himself or herself.

TOD: another one that puzzles me a bit is "Why is it always about you?" - it just seems that mostly every accomplishment we make has something to do with ourselves in some way, even if it's as altruistic as the good feeling we get from having done something for someone else.

But that's just me, I guess.

I think Skip had a number that was listed in the program (and demo) by that name in the San Diego version of "Time and Again."

I personally could never fully grasp the fact that the word had nothing to do with the number four, which I guess is "quad" not "quod.".
