Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Godzilla like, and now it is time for you to post until the Godzilla cows come home.

TCB, to answer your question from last night:  I bought the Spanish Blu-ray of "Bells Are Ringing" because as far as I've been able to find (at least on Amazon.com), it's the only Blu-ray available anywhere.  It's not yet been released on Blu-ray in the US.

Really?  I thought I had the Blu-Ray.  I guess not.

There was a cleaned up (remastered?) DVD release in 2005 that looks pretty good.  Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

One (not so great) thing about hi-def is that you can really tell in "I Met a Girl" that Dean Martin screws up the lyrics.

;)

I think I have the DVD.  I think I bought the laserdisc on eBay just before the DVD came out, so I had to buy it again.  But compared to some other DVDs in general, I think the Blu-ray looks really good.

He does?

Oh, yes.  Right at the end of the song when he's staring right at the camera.

Of course, it's only his lip-synching that he screws up.  The actual song that you hear was pre-recorded and is perfect.

TOD

Don't have a favorite but I can watch any because I love the cheesy special effects that only Japanese Monster films can do.

TOD:

I don't believe I have ever seen a Japanese monster movie.

I guess I've been lucky.

Today I'm picking up a couple of lobby cards I had framed, which will be nice.

Later, a gentleman caller or two will be delivering and installing a replacement microwave oven.  The one it's replacing is but four and a half years old, but its handle has little by little disintegrated because of the cheap plastic parts used in most appliances these days.  Of course it's long out of warranty.  These companies should be completely embarrassed by what they're putting out.  But of course they aren't.  You just bought a new one.  What's not to like about that.  Right?

I am determined to locate that War & Peace DVD set today.  I remember its arrival from England and I recorded it in my catalog of DVDs, so where the fat hell did I put it?

Having been privileged to see just a single percent or so of DR Elmore's library, I can attest to that being a valid question.  :)
