Another photo from the library reminiscing for the 50th anniversary.  In 1985, the library staff had a baby shower for me in our workroom.  The tall redhead is Virginia Brown, my professional mentor who had been retired for 6+ years, and between us is my mother-in-law Harriet.  I consider them my 2 "Middletown Moms" and miss them both.

The current library director has put together a fabulous Gardner-Harvey Library slide show.  Use your down and up arrow keys to scroll through.  The photos are not in precise chronological order, nor are they captioned, but I've offered to help him with that.

The disadvantage of having only one car.  Keith is getting his broken temporary crown repaired and I have an appointment for a haircut.  I planned on only walking one way.  If I don't hear from Keith in the next 5 minutes that he will be home in time to take me I shall begin walking.

Great photo and slideshow DR GINNY.  That is a NICE building.  I like the design a lot.

The building has changed a LOT in 50 years and has just undergone a major interior renovation.  They finally have real offices for each staff member!

I had a nice PM exchange with Singdaw last year - he said it wasn't anything to do with the site, just busy and life stuff and he said he'd be back.  He seems to have been gone now for about two years.  This I will never understand.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Something's afoot with Moonshine & Mistletoe, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Subways Are for Sleeping, and I have the remainder of Guys and Dolls Act Two.

It's been an interesting morning so far.  I feel like Mr Bennett at the end of Pride and Prejudice:
"If any young men come for Mary or Kitty, send them in, for I am quite at leisure."

Happy birthday, Singsong. It's a song sung blue sans you.

I do not mean to be coy.  As I said, things are afoot with all those titles and my dance card could be looking good if things continue. There's more that I cannot mention as well.

Here we are at the Apple Store!  I can't hear the Genius very well, but I have caught "malware" and "P-ram" coming from his direction.  He doesn't seem too concerned.

I timed my walk home from the hairdresser so I know what to allow myself to arrive on time.  As I was walking into the building I saw a neighbor and talked for awhile.  By the time I came in I completely forgot to look at the clock  ::)

I've been advocating for Subways for YEARS.  If something is happening that's good news and it's about time.  I was, in fact, thinking of doing an entire Kritzerland devoted to the score and would try to get Orson Bean to come in and do it.
