Today was All Staff Training Day for my work. The first session was kind of an overview of the changes that are coming to our library's computer system. Kind of interesting, but not as informative as it could've been.

The second session was by Gene Ambaum, the author of a daily internet-based comic strip about a fictional (of course) library in a strip mall called Unshelved. You don't have to work with the public to find funny. He was also our keynote speaker in the morning. He was very good and funny and just seemed like a really nice guy.
