We left Lumberton at 9:30. Stopped in va for dinner for about an hour and we were at the exit for  the verrazanno bridge at 7:30.   We actually got on the bridge at 10:15 and it took almost 2 hours to travel the last 30 miles home

The last 2 hours were more bearable than the nearly three hours to go the 3 miles or so from the exit ramp of the turnpike to the bridge. At least we were traveling

Monday and Tuesday the Vixfamily reunited for fun at universal while the BF was teaching history to 10th graders.

Is this is regular job?

Yes he is a full time history teacher now.  Two of his classes are entirely made up of students for whom English is a second language some Spanish speakers and a lot of French-speaking Haitian students

Does he speak either French or Spanish?

Did I mention how I love EZ pass and the EZ pass express lanes in Maryland?

Does one EZ pass work in several states or do you need a separate one for each state you travel in?

My belief is that the EZ pass works all along the eastern seaboard except in Florida where you just have a Sunpass

Thanks.

I just saw on the news the reason for the delay on the Verrazano Bridge.  That would explain the long delay.

So sad, about Charmian Carr.

"of complications from a rare form of dementia"

And only 73.  Oy.

That's too bad...and 73 is much too young. :(

Is anyone else watching the Emmy Awards?   Nothing too exciting so far.

I should have recorded it.  I say "should" because I set my DVR to record it, but I haven't checked to make sure that it actually recorded. ;)

I'll check it soon enough.

Sharry was there (she had seen all but two performances) and said hi to me and asked if I was there by myself (I was) and would I mind if we sat together (I didn't) and then she saw two other friends of hers (actually a female friend of the actor who wasn't her husband [I forget his name] and her friend) and introductions were made all around and all four of us sat together.

She invited me to go to dinner with them, but I had to go to my sister's, so I (hopefully politely) had to decline.

After the show, Sharry took pictures of people who met her husband Micheal and Frank.  Then she took a picture of the two of them with us three who sat with her.  It was all very friendly and fun.

Yes, Sharry does love to take photos.  She used to keep the entire Fuji and Kodak film divisions in business.

Years ago, Sharry and Micheal went to see a review (WHAT IF) in L.A. And after the show she wanted some photos with the cast.  So, she asked this local guy (BK) if he would take some photos for her.
