Those of you who use Airborne, do you do the mix with water or use it in a different form?  I want to buy some for the house.

I do not sleep well when I'm drunk.  The citrus and tequila were strong.  I was up and down all night, and I now remember none of my truly weird dreams.

I like a cadillac margarita which has grand marnier.  Never salt!  For an extra treat, extra taquilla oh so good.

And it's Tuesday.  Today I am taking my mother shopping for a new winter coat - which means I will get to see EACH and EVERY coat on the rack.

I like a margarita with just tequila, Mexican Controy and fresh lime juice. No syrup, no mix, no agave.

And extra salt.

Same exactly.  The only thing I can never remember, if it's been a while, is the ratio of each.

And yes, a container of margarita salt is a staple in this house.

I seem to recall the recipe I loved being "3-2-1".  But which is which?

I never make them at home so I wouldn't know the mixture.  Every once in awhile the bartender forgets to add the grand marnier and I can taste the difference, then confirm it by the color.

At the Mexican restaurant we went to for Keith's birthday they gave him a birthday treat of grand marnier & taquilla in a shot glass.  I got to drink most of it since he was driving.  It was delicious.

The Grand Marnier thing is a nice treat once in a great while, but for my taste a perfectly mixed regular margarita on the rocks is heavenly enough for most occasions.

Just got back from dropping off library sale donations and thrift shop donations, and I'll have more ready to go out tomorrow.

Two favorite delightfully offbeat Japanese films:

Nobuhiko Obayashi's HOUSE (HAUSU) (1977)
Minoru Kawasaki's EXECUTIVE KOALA (2005)

Glad to hear Cason is coming back to do the BRain From Planet X. He was so good in that role.

Ditto.  He was certainly great on the CD!

And I am home from City Center.  Very tired.  Joshie and I looked at the first four numbers for The King & I.  I think his work is quite excellent.

I learned today that this Lincoln Center production had several new orchestrations by Michael Starobin.  As soon as I saw the one inserted into "I Whistle A Happy Tune," I knew it wasn't vy Robert Russell Bennett.

Tequila is the 3. The other two is your taste. Want more orange, use more triple sec or whatever. Want more tart, use more lime.

So last night, I had my first ever rehearsal as one of two assistant stage managers.  It was fairly easy.  We watched the rehearsal of the two plays (one at a time, of course) that are directed by one of four directors.  Both of these plays have only two people.  I wrote down some rudimentary blocking and took notes on possible needed props.  Tonight is the TAO board meeting, but tomorrow and Thursday are more rehearsals.  We open in October!

I don't have them very often so I go for the big treat.  Yes, on the rocks :)

Had some bacon, eggs, and toast for my meal o' the day, Richard Sherman has come and gone and we have new, slightly better versions of two songs, plus one song we didn't have on the other demo, so that's good.  The ION cassette thing was here in time so I've already transferred and gotten to the restoration guy.  The ION thing seems very cheaply made but it does the job.  Now I have to remember what I did with some cassettes I wanted to transfer.

Rob Berman told me today that two margaritas last night did him in, and I told him I felt the same.
