I had zero intentions of watching "NCIS" or "NCIS: New Orleans" this new season. And I was definitely not interested in watching "Bull".
However, given a lackluster lineup of individuals in "Dancing With the Stars", my interest turned to CBS out of curiousity.
Happily, I was not put off by the new look of "NCIS". McGee, of course, is looking cadaverous. He's not only too thin, but he seems to have had some face sculpting done.
Gibbs, too, seems to look different...a bit of eye work, perhaps?
The two new additions to the cast do not, as of this moment, disturb me.
"Bull" -- (sorry TCB, but I watched it all with interest) -- turned out to be much more than I thought it would be. Interesting characters and interesting psychological profiling. Of course, the premise could get old quickly.
That leads me to "NCIS: New Orleans" -- I hoped I'd find it interesting. They have done away with a major character and replaced her with others. There is some "fraternizing" potential between two of the agents.
I'm not buying into this one, I'm afraid. What was once a good show has become a bit bloated and predictable. Too bad, too.
And as for DWTS...I had no idea who Jake T. Austin was. I looked him up and find I don't give a rat's patootie about who he is. That he was eliminated ahead of Rick Perry and Ryan Lochte doesn't interest me in the least.
I know, I know...what was I expecting? How could I not have anticipated a mixed bag?
And why am I watching network TV when I have a bunch of unopened Blu ray discs piled on my floor?
