I wish I could minimize my waist. I have been climbing that mountain and not losing anything. Now I have tendonitis in my heel.

I buy clothes at my local Goodwill......if I need something nice and new, I go to Burlington....  I am very fortunate because my mother is an excellent seamstress and can do any alterations that need done.  It goes without saying that I am NOT a fashion plate - nor was I EVER!

I have recently returned to the 38 waist from a 42....and wouldn't mind going on down to a 36.....I am at 207 lbs right now....down from 247.....

My goal is somewhere in the 190's....we shall see how that goes.

Bravo for you, DR JRand66! I discovered that I've added 6 lbs since my last doctor visit.  that is not good.

Darn.  It is harder to lose weight when walking hurts.  I hope you can get it back off.

I wish I could minimize my waist without loosing weight.

HEALING VIBES FOR YOUR TENDONITIS!!

Next week I really need to make an appointment for the pain in my arch I have had for almost a year now.  Even though I walk more when we travel it doesn't hurt as much as when I walk the flat concrete here.  Now it not only hurts my ankle but the pain went up my leg the other day.  One morning off from walking and my leg is fine.  Today I am returning to two walks.  I hope it will still be better this afternoon.

Got asked to do a written interview about the Sherman Brothers CD so just spent an hour writing the answers to the questions - that will appear on Monday morning when we announce it.  I'll put the link here.

Miss Susan Blakely wrote on Facebook last week (I was reminded of this by the notes) - that her husband Steve Jaffe and Karen Kramer (widow of Stanley Kramer) concluded a deal last week for a REMAKE of "High Noon" by Relativity Pictures......

If it ends up being as awful as The Magnificent Seven remake looks in the previews, we may have another Golden Turkey winner.....

My first question is "WHY?"

Congratulations to JRand, too, on the weight loss. Great news. I think I found it.

Did my training today so I could continue to usher. There was nothing new in there, so I feel like I wasted four hours today.

Dancing is great DR JOHN G.  I do have to say that NOT eating after 6 p.m. is difficult but effective.....no diet drinks, only water....and only eating bread and pasta now and then.....  And no alcohol.....   ALL of these things are HARD!!!

Bruce I hope you reach your goal and then find nice fitting clothes which should help you maintain your weight.  For the first time ever Keith had to work at gaining 5 pounds.  He reached his goal this morning and was pleased with himself.  He had a good time working at this new goal :)

I wish that i needed to gain 5 lbs. I think I could easily accomplish this. :)

I've always had an interest in fashion and style, though you might not know it from the way I dress these days--jeans and a polo shirt. I like natural fabrics and comfortable, classic styles. That means there is little in the stores that I like. I am not trendy.

Unfortunately I gained 2 pounds eating along side of him.  I'm still in my weight range though.

Soft, feel good fabric is important to me.

When I was in high school I designed and made apparel that I then sold in a little boutique on Ocean Front Walk in Venice, Ca. (Not far from BK's grandparents, though I didn't know that then.) I also helped with costumes at Bluth Brothers Theatre.

I took part in UCLA's fashion design program and was especially interested in fashion illustration. But the fashion design industry was dying--more layoffs each week. I supplemented my income during my early software days by doing custom clothes for a friend who was very, very difficult to fit.

Just before my thirtieth birthday I was offered a job on a software project for the apparel industry. It was quite by chance and I didn't realize at the time just how uniquely qualified I was. I visited apparel manufacturers not only in the US, but also throughout Europe. It was really interesting!

I was so taken with Burton's in Leeds, England that I was very tempted to take a job there. But didn't.
Funnily enough, many years later I was chatting with a carpenter who was doing some work on my house and learned that he used to work at Burton's!

I had a notice on the computer that Time Machine couldn't complete its backup due to lack of space - that's odd as it's supposed to simply delete the oldest backups so that it always has room. I'm trying again, but may have to call Apple.

Do you have your time machine setup so that it will delete the oldest backups when space is needed?

Yes, that's what it's always done and is supposed to do.  It ultimately did the back-up it hadn't done.
