I am not sure I could take an entire evening about Andy Cohen, who seems to be a parody of person himself.  And there should be some kind of consequences for creating and foisting the REAL HOUSEWIVES OF.... series of television shows on the world....making "celebrities" of some of these terrible women by manufacturing drama and chaos among them.....

I always thought THE REAL HOUSEWIVES franchise was andy Cohen's queen-y vision of how society ladies relate based on the film of The Women.

I believe that one of the songs from the show was just recorded for the new Broadway Cares holiday album, so that's something.

That's great, Larry!  Congrats for that!

From Bruce
Quote
When I jog at night, I wear a very bright white sweatshirt, but I'm also extremely careful and VERY alert - I am not a jogger with ear buds - I am very aware of everything around me.

I expected the second part of this.  A white shirt is good.  I have noticed people here where little lights or reflectors along with light clothes.  They are definitely easier to see.

I don't have high opinion of the Carnegie Deli in Vegas, if that is the one in New York, New York, but then I am not judging their pastrami or corn beef sandwiches.

I have been thinking about my doctors visit.... I think she was very rude. Not. Only did she tell me I could stand to lose 50 lbs but she told me to go get a tube shoved up my bottom and put my mammories  in a vise.... And what's worse is Vixdad thought these were all good ideas too!

DR Vixmom, unless NY laws are different you are legally required to take a lunch break.  Instead of lunch, which I expect you eat at your desk to begin with, go for a walk.

Okay, recording dates have moved and now appear to be some time between Oct. 31 and Nov. 15. Oy!  I'm a bit pised because after I hired Bob Zubrycki to play violin and mandolin, the producer, knowing this, asked another violinist to do the recording. Talk about cross purposes.

That was not nice.  Vibes it all works out ok.

Had an early birthday brunch with friends today. The food and wine were good, the company outstanding.

They gave me some of the honey they harvested yesterday. It smells incredible.

I've just heard a beautiful Jacques Brel song I never knew: "Girl In An Armchair," sung by Amanda McBroom on her wonderful Brel album.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  I accompanied Fr. Richard to the church in Dayton that he likes a lot more than I do.  After the service, we had coffee at Starbucks and brunch at First Watch and came home to watch the Cincinnati Bengals give today's game away to the Denver Broncos.

It is HOT here, a forecast of 96 degrees in my 'hood. Ugh! I skipped my usual morning stretches (which I NEVER miss) in order to get into the shower early. I needed to wash my hair and on hot days the bathroom can get rather insufferable. I am happy to report that my hair is now clean. (My excitement rivals TCB's.)

Very glad to hear that Larry's recording is now ON. Despite the annoying politics.

One cannot expect men to understand the vice part.

My PCP is now referring all his female patients to the two female GYNs. At least the females have been through the procedures themselves. I'm happy to have a female GYN.

A break? This is Vixmom's office. The hours Vixmom works violate at least the spirit of the labor laws, if not the letter of some of them.

That said, I agree with Jane that it's good to get up from your desk and get a bit of exercise, even if it's brief.

I'm up, I'm up - I was up at seven after four hours of sleep, and fell back asleep around eight and got up at noon, so I guess that's eight hours of sleep.

I've been writing commentary but need to take a break.  The good news is I'm halfway through.  Must figure out food.
