I remember reading VALLEY OF THE DOLLS when it was first released and I think I saw the film twice; but I don't remember a single word of dialogue.

My, it's early on a Saturday.

Been awake since six a.m. and decided to call it quits and get up. On the other hand, I'd had a good solid sleep.

I came to VALLEY OF THE DOLLS late in life, like, not until the laserdisc era had mostly passed. A friend told me I'd probably have a ball reading the original novel. So I did, and I did. After that, nothing would do but seeing the movie, so I got the Fox Widescreen laserdisc, and what a blast! I was especially enamored of Patty Duke and Sharon Tate, but the whole thing was a hoot. I later got the deluxe DVD set but I don't believe I've watched the film since that first time. This must not stand, and I look forward to the Blu-ray.

Was this already posted? The cast of the new Murder on the Orient Express will include Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Daisy Ridley, as well as Leslie Odom Jr.
