I think early rock n roll music was an eye opener for me.....including "Heartbreak Hotel" and "Rock Around the Clock."

And the song from "Hole in the Head" I think....."High Hopes"......

A friend of mine with a food truck just posted a picture on that other site of his chicken-fried cheeseburger with cheese gravy. I'll be thinking of little else for the rest of the day.

Tuesday afternoon greetings!  We are back from downtown Dayton, where we attended "Bagels & Broadway" at the Schuster Center for the load-in of JERSEY BOYS.  We won't get to see the show this time, but we've seen it there before and in Chicago and New York.  Did a couple of errands on the way home and had lunch at a deli we like in Springboro.  I might need a nap...

DR Elmore, we drove past Randy & Jo's new house on the way to and from Dayton.  It's one I've noticed before and admired the pool deck.  The thing I like best is that, when you're staying there and come here for dinner, you won't have that long, dark drive back to West Middletown.  They'll feel like they've moved into the city.

They are really excited about the move.  They also love the fact they will not have to deal wth the Macbeths any more.

I just had a lovely phone conversation with a nice young man from Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, who will be consulting with me soon about my dilemma.

So sorry, Druxy, about the passing of your friend.

Will be participating in an Asthma Clinic for a couple of hours this afternoon.

I hope I find it useful and that some of what they tell me can be applied to my "worst" moments.

Closer to DR Ginny and not having to deal with the Macbeth's.  You will enjoy your next visit.

TOD:

I don't know if they were life changing, but three songs that have certainly stuck with me from my youth:

Moments to Remember
The Wayward Wind
Thunder Road

I love The Wayward Wind.

I always felt it was a restless wind.

Back from the same sandwich as yesterday, California Melt, and this time a small thing of sweet potato fries because I felt I deserved a little treat.  I'll jog in a couple of hours and hopefully work some of the latter off.  The sandwich itself is pretty calorie friendly.

Now listening to some music - listened to Robert Ward's The Crucible last last night and this morning - what a masterpiece.  Then I uploaded a bunch of CDs that feature Ogerman arrangements - mostly George Benson, Bill Evans, and Stan Getz this go round.

I just got the rough mix for the 2016 "Carols for A Cure" track of the duet from Moonshine & Mistletoe. It sounds pretty good.

My friend, filmmaker Ted V. Mikels, has passed away.

Ted shot and edited my first movie that I directed and, later, I did publicity for a couple of the movies he directed.

Ted was the "king" of "schlock horror" movies and I doubt that many of you have seen his pictures (e.g. THE ASTRO-ZOMBIES).

They were not my cup of tea, either.

But, he was a fascinating person and he did know how to make a film...cheap.

Druxy, my condolences on your loss.
