Well, you've read the notes, the notes were living, and now it is time for you to post until the living cows come home.

Listening to Edward Rubbra - a wonderful Brit composer, filled with gorgeous melody.  Currently up is symphony number three.  I haven't heard these in so long it's like finding an old friend.  These came out on CD in the early 90s.

I have to be at City Center early this morning to look over the King & I Overture with Joshie, who has to be at the Sunday in the Park with George dress at 12:30.  Maybe I'll run into Jake Gyllenhall while I'm there?

DR TCB, I'm sorry about the restroom situation, but I honestly hope that you will not drop out of the production.  I cannot speak for you, but I find my semi-retirement a real downer on my life.  If I could stand without strain, I might be more enthusiastic about volunteer work, but sometimes having the money for the bus adds to the difficulty of getting around.

Much as I like days at home, being forced to remain there can be a depressing situation.

Speaking of Jake Gyllenhaal, did anyone see the play he was in, CONSTELLATIONS, and thus know what the photo shown in this article was all about?

TCB - do you have enough room in your home, or is there a community room of some sort nearby,  so that they could rehearse just your scenes there just until they can get into the theatre?  or are there insurance issues about something like that?

It would be an unfortunate reason to have to drop out if something could be done about it.

More test vibes for vixmom!

I will spare you the version of "Mr. Flu Shot" to the tune of "Mr. Sandman" that's running through my head.  :)

Compared to my life four years ago before this health issue, DR FJL, my time is wide open.  The Guys & Dolls work is dependent on the speed of my colleague Jason's getting work to me, and it's sporadic.  I go to City Center maybe twice a week to help Joshie but that's a not a paying job, just helping out a friend. The Gentlemen, Be Seated! work is finished, and all I currently have in the way of paying work besides Guys & Dolls is a couple of choral commissions.

Something's afoot that will come in the Big Announcement, and I wait.

It looks like this coming week is going to be the best time for my fall visit to beautiful SW Ohio.  I would drive over on Wednesday and return Saturday.  That's a quick one, but it needs to be a quick one this time.

Note to DR Jrand66:  I'm afraid that won't leave me the extra time for a hop over your way this trip.  I will happily build that into my next visit in the spring.

I'm happy to see that The Sound of Music tour will be playing in a few locations in the northeast in the early spring.

DR TCB sorry to hear about the rehearsal space situation. Um how is that wheelchair accessible?? They should find a different rehearsal space. That is very unfair to you. Hopefully you won't have to drop out. :(
