More test vibes for vixmom!

I will spare you the version of "Mr. Flu Shot" to the tune of "Mr. Sandman" that's running through my head.  :)

I would actually quite enjoy that!  I was advised by a nurse at church that I should wait until next week to get my flu shot just in case any of the contrast is still in my system

Just got caught up with last night's posts. Vixmom, I think the German noodle dish you're trying to think the name of is spaetzle.

That's it!!!!

Having had some disappointment reacquainting myself with Edward Rubbra (I still like his music but not nearly as much as I remembered - weird), so I was almost dreading listening to the Ikuma Dan symphonies, which I remember loving when I got the CD but have not heard it since.   I needn't have worried - this is the real deal for me - absolutely stunning music by a brilliant composer.  He also wrote many film scores, the most famous of which is for Samurai 1, 2, and 3 - I now have to actually watch those damn movies - I've had the Criterion Blu and Ray since it came out and have never even looked at a second of it.

His music at times is Mahlerian, it's pastoral, and I find it quite moving, and his orchestration is simply masterful.

I had a fleeting moment that I might do another jog - so far it has remained fleeting.

I told her that I felt the whole idea was unacceptable.

I told her that they wouldn't send a woman in the cast or one of the kids in the cast to run across the street to use the restroom, so why did they think it was okay for me.

She wrote back that she agreed that it was not a good suggestion and that she would work out an alternative plan.

Tonight the Seattle Seahawks fought to a 6 - 6 tie against the Arizona Cardinals.  This is the first tie in the Hawks forty year history.

The fleeting moment turned into a notion and then into a reality so I did another two-and-a-half mile jog - total five miles today.

Watching Me and My Gal. Very strange scene in which Martha Eggerth is singing to Gene Kelly. Everything is in focus but her breasts. I wonder if the costume proved too revealing when screened for the censors.

Yes, she did the right thing even if she was a bit slow to do it.

Well, it's time for me to head out to downtown for an evening of vaudeville entertainment.  I'm sure that it'll be a very unique and interesting and fun evening.

Until later!

I'm home and the evening was definitely unique and interesting, but very fun.  Friends of mine were in the show, but I also sat with friends of mine, too.  We all really enjoyed it. :)
