I'd never heard of it, either. It's by the author of Same Time, Next Year, which I have heard of. The show itself was pretty good. It's set in England, but no one used accents. It's about an older author with an adult son and the author's younger (but older than the son) second wife. A young woman comes to their house and claims to have had an affair with the author, which the author denies. She wants money from them to emigrate to Canada, which they refuse, then we find out that she kills herself (but her body is never found) and the author is accused of the crime. There are a couple of twists that I and most of the audience did NOT see coming. It's a good show, but not a great execution.

Halloween is here: I had nothing but nightmares and unsettling dreams about Guys & Dolls, my dead Aunt Jean, the Big Announcement, Hillary Rodham Clinton and the election, and more. It was a bad night.

I did receive a bunch of lovely emails this morning from friends within the US and outside about my ghostly memoirs. Answering them occupied the first part of my morning.

So, today I will continue to work on my choral commission. I spent the afternoon yesterday looking over the song to be arranged, sketching some ideas, and laying out the entire chart. I still have to determine what voice parts will take the melody and determine the other chorus parts and their progressions.
