Well, you've read the notes, the notes were Novemberish and gave thanks, and now it is time for you to post until the November cows come home.

I was going to talk about Tammy Grimes, but felt it should not be in today's notes - have to ponder and didn't want to rush.

Jane, in answer to your question, I'm still waiting on a copy of Hillbilly Elegy to come in at the library. Maybe when I get back home.

Last night, I went to my sister's house and per usual, she had no, count 'em, no trick-or-treaters.  Oh, well, we played Phase 10 (I lost yet again) and ate pizza and Halloween candies that my sister had.

For those people who don't get any trick or treaters: Do you have your porch lights on and have a pumpkin outside/Halloween decorations?  Here unless you have both then people won't go to your house. :(

Vixmom, I'm sorry to hear about that tooth.  I can only imagine how depressing that would be, following the crown and all.  Here's to happier tooth days ahead.

TOD:

I've never seen it on stage, but I love the score from MACK & MABEL.

I'm back for a minute!

TOD:
Favorite flop play: Teibele and Her Demon by Isaac Bashevis Singer, really magnificent
Musicals:  Candide, 1956, and still the best version
The Grass Harp, brilliant score and lyrics, pathetic book
Bright Star, wonderful score and book, poor lyrics
