Well, you've read the notes, the notes had audio and commentary, and now it is time for you to post until the commenting cows come home.

It was very good.  The story made sense (in a superhero-type universe) and the special effects were incredible.

If you go, stay to the end of the credits.  There are two extra scenes...one was right after the main end credits and the other is at the very end of the credits.  And there is the obligatory Stan Lee cameo.  It was good and a lot of fun.

Today is a day off from work, so I get to do laundry.  Later in the afternoon, I'm going to my parents' for our weekly family dinner, then I'll go to the Washington Center for the Performing Arts to work concessions for the latest Warren Miller movie, "Here, There & Everywhere.

It'll definitely be an evening. ;)

Thanks for the tip.  We often leave before they are done.  We won't see it in 3-D at the IMAX, just at the theater near us.

Most Marvel movies have a scene after the end of the credits.  Unless I specifically hear that there isn't one, I always stay to the very end of their movie credits.

It's actually just after noon here. I have been enjoying a lazy morning of reading on the balcony, which overlooks the sea. A nice breeze is blowing. The sun is out but the balcony is covered.

There's a pleasant clatter of goats' bells faintly in the bag round mingled with a few bleats and some meows from the kittens.

Another friend of Carol's arrived last night for a few days. Clairy is from Greece and she's cooking lunch for us. Intoxicating aromas of garlic and plums cooking in honey and cognac are drifting up the stairs.

I'm digesting this morning's reading in Proust and trying not to fall back into that artificial society. But I'm too happy and lazy and unmotivated to do anything but post here.

Jane, Clairy owns a hotel on the island of Kos, which recently closed up shop for the season. She informed me that she has both the stray dogs and cats at her place spayed and neutered, so it's an idea whose time is coming.

Her own pet cat and dog were both strays who adopted her.

TCB, regarding your post from a couple of days ago. Have you ever thought of pulling an Elaine Stritch and having your lines on a try that rests across your wheelchair?
