If guests view a page with just the avatars of DRs George and Jrand66, they will think we're quite stylish.

Turns out I'll have duplicates of two RCA CDs, ChasSmith - so hold off.  I didn't realize I'd already purchased two of the titles.

Thanks -- I just dug through all the rest and found I have a total of seven RCAs! - which is totally surprising to me.
But I've been through them all now, so no more surprises are possible.

I'll post the list.  Also have two Levine/Boston Symphony ones and A Chorus Line which is on a slow boat from California.

Sorry everyone.  I forgot to mention that yesterday at court, Elijah was released on his own recognizance.  There is a pre-trial hearing on the 18th, but nothing to worry about until after the first of the year.

Or Das Meer, as some of the Cleveland folks used to refer to Szell's recording.

DR George, the website was working this morning and we have printed out our tickets.  Is the address 113 Columbia St NW?

That's correct!  In downtown Olympia.

And now, to bed. 8)

Have a good day, all!
Today, I'm having lunch with a friend whom I haven't seen since before I started losing weight (actually, she hasn't seen me).  I'm pretty sure that she doesn't even know that I've been losing weight, at all.

And my cousin and his wife came up from Oregon yesterday to visit for the weekend, and I haven't seen them since last year.  I'll be surprising several people, soonly. ;)

And soon I will see though I won't be surprised.   How much have you lost now?  Do you have a schedule you weigh yourself?   I weigh myself almost every day.  Keith used to do so occasionally and thought I did it too often.  Now he understands my mindset since getting his weight under control and also weighs daily to maintain it.

I've lost about 65 pounds, now. But I don't have a schedule.  My mantra in just about everything is, "It'll be what it'll be." :)

I know I'm still eating less (amount and calories) than I used to, so unless I somehow inexplicably start gaining, it's all good.

Congrats to DR GEORGE on his millstone and new photo - you should carry that lighting around with you.

Thanks, Jrand!  I wish I could!  It was just the ambient work lights in the theater.

Earlier this week, I had a CT scan. The good news is that there's no sign of the cancer recurring after almost five years. The big question mark is something the doctor noticed on my thyroid. So, I now have an appointment with my regular doctor in less than an hour.

Great news about the no cancer!!

I am home from a lovely luncheon with Rob Berman.

The Big Announcement
Encores! is performing the 1930 Cole Porter musical The New Yorkers, which had several songs written by Jimmy Durante for Jimmy Durante to perform in the show. Only a couple of the Durante songs exist, so the rest of the score is being filled out with other Porter songs.  The performance dates are March 22-26, and the show will be orchestrated by Josh Clayton and Larry Moore.

Wow!  I just got another great review from WONDERFUL LIFE.

Counter to Bailey’s selfless nature is Puget Sound acting juggernaut Tom Birkeland and his money-at-all-cost portrayal of Mr. Potter. No one in the 253, 206, 360 or 425 area codes could have done better. No one. Period. Full stop.

Yes, she said I was excellent, but I still wish I had given a better performance for her.
