Wow!  I just got another great review from WONDERFUL LIFE.

Quote
Counter to Bailey’s selfless nature is Puget Sound acting juggernaut Tom Birkeland and his money-at-all-cost portrayal of Mr. Potter. No one in the 253, 206, 360 or 425 area codes could have done better. No one. Period. Full stop.

That is fantastic.  What great news!  Any word yet from the reviewer at the dress?

Yes, she said I was excellent, but I still wish I had given a better performance for her.

Congratulations on the great reviews!

I am home from a lovely luncheon with Rob Berman.

The Big Announcement
Encores! is performing the 1930 Cole Porter musical The New Yorkers, which had several songs written by Jimmy Durante for Jimmy Durante to perform in the show. Only a couple of the Durante songs exist, so the rest of the score is being filled out with other Porter songs.  The performance dates are March 22-26, and the show will be orchestrated by Josh Clayton and Larry Moore.

Congratulations, Larry!  Great news!!

I screwed up everyone's quote of my quote.  I left off the end quote on mine.  It is now fixed.  Sorry.

DR TCB:  Congrats on the notice.  Mr. Potter is my least favorite character in the story because he's an old meanie and, to my knowledge, never gives the money back.

Back from a cup of chicken soup (really trying to fight this lingering thing, which I think is mostly due to not enough sleep), and some not so good chicken tenders, which are just a crap shoot at Jerry's.

ChasSmith, I think the RCAs I'll have duplicates of don't duplicate yours so I'll let you know.  I, too, have A Chorus Line winging its way to me.

Thus far, The Gang's All Here is getting more orders than Sun Valley Serenade/Orchestra Wives.  Of course, that was more money so maybe that's why, but I think this is also doing better than Stormy Weather.  I did post on the Benny Goodman Facebook page, so that always helps, but it would be great if these sales kept on coming in strongly - very helpful.

No answers today.

As I said, it is hard to wait.  I did not expect answers today.  Has your doctor referred you to a specialist or is that the specialist you saw today?

Sorry everyone.  I forgot to mention that yesterday at court, Elijah was released on his own recognizance.  There is a pre-trial hearing on the 18th, but nothing to worry about until after the first of the year.

I hope your family can enjoy the holiday season with this short reprieve.

DR George, the website was working this morning and we have printed out our tickets.  Is the address 113 Columbia St NW?

That's correct!  In downtown Olympia.

Thanks.

And now, to bed. 8)

Have a good day, all!
Today, I'm having lunch with a friend whom I haven't seen since before I started losing weight (actually, she hasn't seen me).  I'm pretty sure that she doesn't even know that I've been losing weight, at all.

And my cousin and his wife came up from Oregon yesterday to visit for the weekend, and I haven't seen them since last year.  I'll be surprising several people, soonly. ;)

And soon I will see though I won't be surprised.   How much have you lost now?  Do you have a schedule you weigh yourself?   I weigh myself almost every day.  Keith used to do so occasionally and thought I did it too often.  Now he understands my mindset since getting his weight under control and also weighs daily to maintain it.

I've lost about 65 pounds, now. But I don't have a schedule.  My mantra in just about everything is, "It'll be what it'll be." :)

You aren't really dieting, you have changed your way of eating and that is the best way to loose weight.

I know I'm still eating less (amount and calories) than I used to, so unless I somehow inexplicably start gaining, it's all good.

If that happens you might change some of what you are eating ;)  I think it is great you are doing this.

The specialist my doctor mentioned is actually the doctor who referred me to my GP in the first place. V

Anybody up for an HHW gathering in March 2017?

DR JANE - I have tossed my comforter where Precious slept, thrown away her dog bed....and got new ones of both.

All other surfaces have been cleaned and sprayed with Lysol....so any flea that may have escaped will have no where to go.....

A March 2017 HHW get-together sounds great!

And also, for folks in New York and surrounding areas, we also have another HHW get together the following month, Tues April 18, or on Wed April 19, while DR Matthew is in town.
