I do not understand what the fat hell has happened to this site's marquee thread. Why does half of my post not run where it should?

It looks the same to me.

I just logged out and looked at my post as a guest.  You are right, Nursie; it runs in one long thread, as I want it to.  Yet, when I post it, and on my logged-in view, it runs intwo lines!

I've been bitching about this for weeks, so I am completely surprised that it's something with my server! On Safari, it's all screwed up.

I enjoyed reading about the Comping of the Vocals in the notes today.

Party fun vibes for MR BK.

DR VIXTER's story yesterday was most satisfying.  And I enjoyed reading about DR JOHN G's adventures.....and the photo of the seafood salad!

The G&D Overture is finally proofed.  It took me forever to make up my mind to do it.  I'm happy it's finished.

Back to The New Yorkers.

Hmmm, I must have forgotten to log out when we left for church.  We enjoyed the Methodist service, especially the preview of the children's Christmas Eve play.  A group that included great-nephew Nathan (age 12) sang "Dude, You Hear What I Hear?"

I'm not sure how I like Season 2 beginning in 2013, 60 years later.

The Computer Whiz Kid at my church spent about three minutes fixing the graphics on my laptop after my daughter's cat walked across the keyboard and messed everything up. I was having a terrible time trying to see things and find where to log in and such as.

I think the weakest episodes are during the first half of season 2.  Stay with it :)

No family credit for that one, DR FJL.  Apparently the whole show is wordplay, though.  Timothy, who sat out today's number, told me afterwards that the finale is "a bunch of songs, all mixed up."
