I have made an appointment with the doctor this morning.  I know better than to leave a cough like this unchecked.  Of course I will probably not be able to cough for the doctor.

DR TCB - that question came to me when I watched the movie many years ago.....it didn't accomplish what he wanted it to....he didn't need it.....he couldn't return it.....I think he probably burned it in his fireplace - or put it in his safe and forgot about it.....

DR TCB that also reminds  me of the the audience member who asked the director what happened to Nora after the final curtain of A DOLL'S HOUSE.

The director said:  "She took off her makeup and went back to the hotel."

TOD - definitely the highlight of my year was adding Leo to my family.  However, there were quite a lot of low points, too many for one year.  Let's get this year over and move on.

That reminds me of the (possibly apocryphal) story where an actor said "my character would never say that."

The director grabbed a script and, showing it to the actor, said "Yes, he does say that, it's right here in the script."

That happens to me, also that whatever pain I went for doesn't seem to be there in the right place while sitting at the doctor's.  :)

I really am better right now.  I want the doctor to hear what sounds like bronchitis, not just the loose cough-lol

Yup, just like when you take the car to the mechanic because it is making a strange noise which suddenly has disappeared.

I'm up, I'm up - for some reason I didn't get to sleep until four and was hoping to sleep later but it's a hammering morning so not possible.

Those nice Metrocard people sent me my PIN and said my permanent card will arrive under separate cover.

And that's all the news I got.

No, here's something.  Over on Home Theater Forum this morning, they've got teeny tiny little snowflakes falling through the blue banner at top, through images on the main page, and through the smaller blue dividers above people's posts.

https://www.hometheaterforum.com/    (give it a few seconds to begin)

Just look at what a horrible nuisance and distraction they are!!!  I'm kidding, of course.  But several people have complained about them and want them removed.  One poor fellow had the "daylights" scared out of him till he was able to figure out what it was.

The low point? The election, its complete decline in class or honesty and the GOP's tacet encouragement of racism, zenophobia, misogyny, homophobia, and violence.

Ditto. :(

We are gearing up for a fun weekend celebrating Mary Linda's graduation (Friday) from Miami University with her MBA.  Her parents and grandparents are coming from Michigan and her sister is coming from Cleveland for the festivities.

Congrats to Mary Linda!
