Well, you've read the notes, the notes continued and so did ME, and now it is time for the ME cows to come home.

I think the best way to do Merrily We Roll Along is just do the songs in concert

The reading of my new play went well. The feedback from the audience helped. I have trimmed a few lines of dialogue here and there and deleted several appearance of a running gag that overstayed its welcome. The running time was about 85 minutes so I gather with staging it might add another 10-15  minutes to it. With a set change between acts it should bring it to under two hours.

In around 30 minutes I will head out to my podiatrist appointment.  I expect traffic around Trump Tower to be dreadful, although the last tie I made the trek to 23rd Street that wasn't the case.  Still, I'd rather be early than late.

BK, your leading man issues probably have more to do with him and his ego than the performance.  I've worked with him once on a recording, which went well, and he was wonderful.  After I lost my original lead, the foundation wanted me to use him again for the leading man on Roberta. I was delighted  that it didn't happen when his agent turned down the recording fee because I found him a bit arrogant and rude during our discussion about the recording.  He sings well.  I guess he's now in LA hopng for a film-TV career.

DR TCB, I'm sure your back pains demoralized you yesterday, but I'm sure you gave a sterling performance.  You're a trouper.

I am forced to use my mini iPhone since I don't know how to pair it with my tablet. I can't see all of what I am typing, very frustrating.

It was freezing on Thursday and Friday. Then it warmed up on Saturday and Sunday (however there was snow and freezing rain). And now today it is freezing again. We can't win. The snow and freezing rain was not good. But the frigid temps are not good either.

Hmmmm.....I haven't seen any movies this year.....at the theatre, but I look forward to FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS......

There are no new television shows that I have watched past the first episode of viewing....including BULL and TIMELESS which are both wasted opportunities as far as I am concerned.....

Monday morning greetings!  Today is my pre-op appointment with the opthalmologist who will do my cataract surgeries on December 29 and January 5.  Richard and I have some Christmas shopping to do afterwards, so I'll be away until later this evening.

TOD:

I have not seen most of the movies that are up for Oscar yet, because they have not been released onto DVD yet.  However, I did enjoy HELL OR HIGH WATER and FLORENCE FOSTER JENKINS.

Looking forward to seeing SULLY this week when it hits RedBox.

On TV, I enjoyed THE PEOPLE AGAINST O.J..  Also all the Dick Wolfe  CHICAGO shows.
