We are on our way to the Natural Bridge Caverns.

You're doing all the things I haven't done because I live there.

It is pretty and worth seeing, however, we did not enjoy the unorganized tour.

Thanks for the warning

I'm sad about Carrie Fisher, more than I might ever have thought in years past.  She had so much to teach us.

Well, I just got a call from my friend Margo and we're going to have a double-feature movie night tonight.  First, we'll meet at the west side (of Olympia) Red Robin for dinner (it's her birthday month, so she gets a free burger with her rewards card), then we'll head out to the Lacey Regal cinemas and see "La La Land."

After that, we'll hie ourselves back to the west side (of Olympia) to see "Arrival" at the Cinemark/Century/Capitol Mall theater.  What's funny (strange) is that "La La Land" is only playing in Lacey and "Arrival" is only playing on the west side (of Olympia). :-\

There's enough time to go from one theater to the other between the movies, so it'll be fine.  Margo lives on the west side (of Olympia) and I live in Tumwater, so the west side (of Olympia) is actually on my way home from Lacey.

I just heard from my Aunt Minnie. She has a ticket for me for tomorrow's dress rehearsal of Roméo et Juliette at the Met.

As time goes by, I am less and less concerned about what people think about me.  Of course I am not in the Public Eye as MR BK is.....

I'm just surprised occasionally by the vitriolic reaction to me by certain people, especially former dear readers to whom I have never EVER said an unkind word, like the one today, who behaved like a total jerk in responding to me.  That's what I never understand.  If I'd taken him on at some point, taken him to task at some point, sure, hate me, I don't care one way or another.  But when that isn't the case, I just find it baffling.  And I happily called him out on it.

Had a bacon and cheese omelet and an English muffin - after I ascertained there were no packages to pick up so I came home.  The helper came by and got some invoices and now I'm relaxing and listening to music.

The Gang's All Here (you know :) )

Listening to some Paul Creston symphonies on Naxos.  I had the Delos recordings of lots of his music and after listening to bits of all of them decided out they go - they are literally mastered so low you can't hear a damn thing, and on top of that that awful distant miking and these things got raves when they came out - not sure how anyone with ears could not hear how bad they are.  A shame because the music is lovely.

Jane, is the admission to the Alamo always free, or were you on some kind of special deal?

I am still uncertain which book will the THE book - waffling back and forth.  I like the idea of this new thing but I'm not sure I'm in love with the direction it was going, so I'm still making notes and trying to figure it out.

I had green beans with extra things, cruel Chyna onion rings on top.

What I really typed was extra thin, crispy onion rings ;D
