Finishing up the Ansermet Sibelius fourth (really lovely) and am moving on to some French ballet music by Milhaud, Poulenc, Sauget, and Auric, which is also the name of my accountants.

I'll go take a nice hot shower in about ten minutes.  Then I'll uncork the champagne so that's ready.  Then I'll do my New Year's Eve thing, which I'm gonna keep short and sweet tonight, and normally I turn on the TV for the ball drop but I don't think I will tonight - I don't like the people who do that these days and my computer tells me what time it is very accurately.

What was interesting to me was that I made the recipe according to directions, except I only softened three onions, instead of the four called for. I have enough filling left over to make another pie tomorrow.
