I saw that on Amazon.  It's available on DVD and Blu-ray.  I aded it to my wishlist.

I received an irritating email last night as well.

Someone who worked on one show last year.....ONE SHOW ONLY.....and hasn't done anything else here.....decided that all of the theatre groups in the area need to get together and plan their season with each other.....and he went on and on.....

I tried something like this years ago.....trying to get some of the nearby theatres to do shows together, etc.....and was immediately and harshly rebuffed.....

So I emailed him back and told him I didn't think it would work, and that it wasn't necessary.

Of course he is a member of a SMALL theatre group in a town about 40 miles away that has NOTHING in the way of costumes or technical equipment......and he has already let us know that we should LOAN our stuff to them.

NO NO NO.....they took some of our set pieces....hopefully they did return them.  It has been my experience that they are quick to come and get things.....but if you want them back, you have to go get them yourself....if they can find them....

So he hasn't emailed me back.  I would guess he now considers me part of the problem.

The theater groups here in Olympia tried something like that, too.  A few groups tried for a bit, but it never really seemed to work, so they all just gave up

I was so nearly  convinced it was you ... I gave him a huge smile and wished him a happy new year and immediately realized that of course it was not you.... So to escape embarrassment I then gave the same exact greeting to every other person in the aisle

It worked ... And I started a trend the grumpy people in the over crowded market starting smiling and wishing each other a happy new year

My friend, Sharry, gave me the most wonderful Christmas present.

It is a framed photo of the entire cast of the film IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE, with Mr. Potter front and center in the shot.
