Yesterday I watched Alfred Hitchcock movies on TCM all day and napped now and then it was very nice!

I am not having a very good day today, healthwise....but I am hoping there is improvement.

I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep - I'm determined to get to bed earlier - the last four weeks it's usually been three in the morning, which is silly, so last night I was in bed by about twelve-thirty or so, and probably asleep by one-thirty.

I futzed and finessed the ten-plus pages from yesterday - basically I was happy with them and just smoothed them out and first person is absolutely right for this - I knew it the minute I read the first paragraph.  Then I wrote three more pages and now I'll take a break for a bit.

TOD:

Yesterday was my wife's birthday, so we went out to dinner, then came home and watched THE MEDDLER with Susan Sarandon on cable TV.

Happy belated birthday to your wife!

I forgot to wear my fitbit to work out this morning and am typing with my right hand while I rock my left one back and forth to add 3 miles.  it is oddly difficult to do  ;D

Monday afternoon greetings!  Richard and I watched the Rose Parade and did errands as soon as it was over.  Bought scotch and cookies and visited Mom.  I gave the scotch to her nurse and the cookies to Mom.  We then did our own grocery shopping and now I'm settled in for the Rose Bowl.

TOD - we had a nice New Year's Day visit from DN/goddaughter Lauren, her husband Jim, and their son J.  He liked the board books we gave him for Christmas and, with some coaching, said "Thank You."  Before and after their visit we watched pro football and I continued the eye drop routine.  As of today, I'm doing the post-op dosage in my right eye and the pre-op in my left.  Fortunately, they gave me a checklist that makes the process as idiot-proof as possible.

Thank you for all the vibes and good wishes for my friend, Bob.

Vibes for George's aunt and anyone else living with a condition like Parkinson's.

Thanks, John.

I actually got back into bed and slept for another thirty minutes after just laying there like so much fish, getting some ideas for the next few pages and how to structure them.  I wrote another page, and now I'll go see if there are any packages to gather up.

Not much to report, except that this cold has been officially declared to be the slowest moving cold in the world.  Each day is a little better, but at this rate I'll be taking all week to come out of this thing.

Cold-go-away vibes to Chas!

I've been watching TV (again), but now I'm going to my parents' house (again). :)

Have a good rest of the day, all.

Of course he is. Moses couldn't be Moses. And Val Kilmer has to be somebody.

Starting season two of A Place to Call Home. I agree, Elmore, the jump into the future is not something I like.
