Thank you DR JEANNE...time will tell.

DR JANE all surgeries for my uncle have been completed and he is on the road to recovery.  I am not sure of his status, but he seems to be doing well.

Eight pages so far.  Three more to go and then we'll see how many beyond that I'll write.  I'll probably take a hot shower later and try to do an additional three then, and at that point I'll probably be in the last twenty to twenty-five pages, twenty being the more likely number.

Jane, if you're looking for another show, I liked Acorn's THE SYNDICATE: ALL OR NOTHING. Not as riveting as A PLACE TO CALL HOME, but a very good show. It's a lottery story with a twist.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I will ask Keith if he is interested.

Instead of watching the new show we are watching WAKING NED DEVINE.  We do enjoy this movie which is filmed on the Isle of Man where my cousins live.

Had some cashews and low-cal ice cream for my evening snack.  Motor car is in the garage and I'm listening to Ravel.  At some point in the next hour I shall take a hot shower and hope some fun ideas come to me so I can do another two or three pages and head into its final section.

Corrections, I believe some of the  scenery shots were filmed there.

I did finish the eleven pages, so anything else tonight is gravy, although I would like to do more because if I do I'll really have a shot at finishing tomorrow.  Although I do get a late start because she of the Evil Eye comes in the morning.  I may try to futz and finesse some of it before I leave, but then I'm away until noon, which is annoying.  Once I'm back, though, I will just try to start and then keep going without too many breaks.  But if for whatever reason I don't finish, then Sunday morning it will be.

John G, your employer has medical facilities on the premises? I'm glad you found a cheaper way to take care of some of your health care.

Yes, I just got a bill from my kidney doctor. Aetna wouldn't pay for the CT scan I had to have last fall. $500. Ugh.

Also, we have a campus with about 20,000 employees on it. The main building is larger than the Pentagon and there are two other large facilities on the campus. Having a couple of clinics on site makes sense.

Dancing the woman's part again tonight in waltz and foxtrot. Very educational. Very different.

Watching a Jessie Matthews oldie called Sailing Along. Just the kind of escapist nonsense I needed tonight.

Did anyone watch the Broadway Concert for America that Seth Rudetsky arranged? It was shown over Facebook this afternoon and will be rebroadcast on Sunday night.

Interesting collection of singers and songs. Ben Vereen sang "What a Wonderful World." Lillias White knocked "Don't Rain on My Parade" out of the park. My favorite was Brian Stokes Mitchell singing "God Bless America" and "Wheels of a Dream."

The whole cast of folks gathered for a finale of "Let the Sunshine In," which Vereen sang in Hair 50 years ago.

Which means putting him out of the apartment to go potty would not get him outside.
