The new Michael Buble came into the library. It's funny, but I love to dance to his songs and I'd probably enjoy seeing him in concert. And yet an album of his music is a little too much of him at one time. And I'm only on the third cut.

DR JOHN G - it's kind of like John Buble's Christmas Specials....they SHOULD be good....but they aren't.

Here are two CD's you may not know that have some nice different dance tunes on them....I have used cuts from them both.

Back from a wonderful meal at the Smoke House, which, by the way, plays a small but important role in the new book :)

It was Sami, her friend Alli, and her mom - I had the fish and chips, which I've been craving and which were excellent, and a small Caesar.  I told them a bit about the new book and they all thought it sounded like fun and they really liked the title.

I think this evening I'll actually watch a motion picture.  Feels a little odd not to be putting up the manuscript to write more pages.  In fact, I'm going to close it now, after saying this latest version to a flash drive.

I wish I could just tell you all all about it - believe me, that's the hardest part of this, not to be able to share even the title, but we all know about the prying eyes.

Back from the dance. The DJ job sort of fell to me tonight, which I haven't done in about a year. I got eight compliments from people because they liked the mix of music.

I actually played a lot of Michael Buble tonight, and the individual tracks (waltz, rumba and, of course, Sinatra- or Darin-style foxtrots) were wonderful. Great to dance to and did their magic in three minutes.

Starting to watch an Acorn miniseries called Restless with a great cast: Michelle Dockery from Downton Abbey, Charlotte Rampling, Michael Gambon, Hayley Atwell and Rufus Sewell. It's a World War II drama with connections to the present. Should be fun.
