Listening to Debussy and still trying to cultivate more of a liking for his music. His orchestration is wonderful and he does conjure up a mood or two, but I much prefer Ravel and his supreme melodic genius. But I'm trying.

The state competition is the first four days of March, but we don't know yet what day we will be performing.

The regional conference is the last weekend of March in Boise, Idaho.
