I have a brand new pair of roller skates.  Do you have a brand new key?

Who here is up to doing the Shimmy (like your sister Kate)?

Or, how about the Loco-Motion?

This round of the bathroom ceiling is over.  I really like the new super and his wife very much, and, much as I liked the last super, I believe the new one is better at the job.

Better is good :)

A question for BK:

Now that you've finished the new book what happens when you take a shower? Do all those great ideas that have been coming to you for the last few weeks just get aborted? Dry up? Cease to exist?

Or are they diverted to some other creative person seeking inspiration?

I'm glad you like him and also glad he's good at his job.

Back from my first acupuncture session. Very interesting.

The needles didn't hurt, but to treat allergies was a bit of a surprise. Once I got used to it ( all of two seconds), I could breathe through my nose.

Glad to hear it's helping. You didn't go expecting to have your allergies treated?

Being able to breathe is always a good thing, IMHO.

FYI, John G, there's a system called the Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET), which uses acupuncture to eliminate allergies. I've never used it, although I've had tons of acupuncture. If you're interested, www.naet.com. I've heard good things about it, but some acupuncturists prefer standard acupuncture.

I did proof about sixty-five pages.  Then I called Muse Margaret and ran by her the textual things I was thinking about adjusting.  She liked 90% of them, and told me to leave the other 10% alone, which is why I always run this stuff by her.  They weren't huge in number, though.  Mostly I'm deleting my always crazy number of hyphens - it's lazy of me the number I use, so I'm trying to cut half of them, which will still probably leave over 100.

Thank you.  Keith can sleep now ;)

It has been hanging around Craig's apartment complex in Maryland.

Please, keep it, with my compliments

Last year on this day the Vixter was home alone in New York in the middle of a blizzard that closed everything, Vixdad and I were in Florida having narrowly escaped said blizzard which chased us down I 95.  Then the phone rang and my Daddy was gone...

This year the Vixter is in Florida and Vixdad and I are in New York, picking up the pieces of our fence knocked down by the No'easter .

But this morning the rain stopped awhile and I was able to visit Dad and bring him some flowers

To our surprise FedEX delivered a package late this afternoon.  It didn't say who it was from (amazing how most gift orders arrive this way) and we were rather baffled.  Once I figured out what the gift was I knew immediately.  I then had to explain it all to Keith :D

I can now age my cognac in my own little barrel!
