Randy called me.  He's having some spinal surgery that they hope will relieve his problems.  He think we suffer from spinal tenosis.

From the original Star Trek series:
The Cage
I asked Keith for his favorite and he said Spock's Brain.

I liked both series, The Next Generation and Star Trek: Enterprise but cannot think of favorite episodes.

I enjoyed the 2009 Star Trek movie.

Of the original movies I probably like Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home best.

Back from my first acupuncture session. Very interesting.

The needles didn't hurt, but to treat allergies was a bit of a surprise. Once I got used to it ( all of two seconds), I could breathe through my nose.

Glad to hear it's helping. You didn't go expecting to have your allergies treated?

Being able to breathe is always a good thing, IMHO.

No. I went for some stress relief. Today it worked well.

FYI, John G, there's a system called the Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET), which uses acupuncture to eliminate allergies. I've never used it, although I've had tons of acupuncture. If you're interested, www.naet.com. I've heard good things about it, but some acupuncturists prefer standard acupuncture.
To our surprise FedEX delivered a package late this afternoon.  It didn't say who it was from (amazing how most gift orders arrive this way) and we were rather baffled.  Once I figured out what the gift was I knew immediately.  I then had to explain it all to Keith :D

I can now age my cognac in my own little barrel!

DR John,

I would love to take credit, but I cannot. Still, whoever sent it to you did do a nice thing.

It must have been Bryan or Craig, probably Bryan since we talked to Craig about the bird today and he didn't mention it.

Last year on this day the Vixter was home alone in New York in the middle of a blizzard that closed everything, Vixdad and I were in Florida having narrowly escaped said blizzard which chased us down I 95.  Then the phone rang and my Daddy was gone...

This year the Vixter is in Florida and Vixdad and I are in New York, picking up the pieces of our fence knocked down by the No'easter .

But this morning the rain stopped awhile and I was able to visit Dad and bring him some flowers

Well, I finally get to leave work, now.  Yesterday was the cut-off for invoicing this month, and today was supposed to be the day that I compiled the report for the business office, but I didn't get all my invoicing done yesterday, and today we had the going away party for my supervisor.

So, today I had to finish the invoicing that I was supposed to have finished yesterday and then compile the report.  But, it's all finished now...and I'm going home.  Whew!

Be back later.

Got a new iPhone today. All this updating stuff is irritating. I should be asleep. I need to wait another 20 minutes for iTunes. And even though it said my phone numbers would carry over, well, they didn't. At least  not all of them did.

For anyone who's heard and enjoyed Kay's CD, some Amazon reviews would be VERY helpful.
