The subject could also, of course, be at the heart of a mystery novel.

Like DR GEORGE, I have a pair of slip on shoes that I wear for just such short jaunts outside.

MR BK it is important that at our age you wear BLACK DRESS SOCKS with those sandals that you purchased....and some becoming Bermuda shorts if possible.

Someone wrote that Spring was on its way.

Not here it isn't. I have never seen so much snow. It snowed 30 cms/12 inches on Saturday. And another maybe 30 cms in 2 snowfalls yesterday (one overnight Tues to Wed and one more Wed night). This is ridiculous. It is piled like 10 feet high in some places!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the DVD of 23 Paces to Baker Street, but it's PAL, and I always prefer to upgrade those to Blu-ray for correct speed if nothing else.
